By Sarah Liddle

Are you fluctuating between the past and the future? Hardly ever present.

Do you find yourself getting out of bed depressed? (Every day a little more sooki than the last).

Without illusions you will not feel separated. Illusions can take many forms. When you feel whole you will feel a part of all that is and there will be a deep sense of connection and peace within your soul and every part of your being.

Your soul thrives upon stillness, it is in this stillness that you can find what the authentic desires of your soul are. The wants that we desire are primarily ego based. The soul needs nothing. But because we live in a physical world and derive much of our happiness from it, I understand we still need a level of physical receiving.

What we think we want and what we need are two different things, two different journeys and two different lifetimes. It is just too hard to find happiness in illusions and too tiring to sit on that treadmill an entire lifetime.

Moving forward if we continually search for what we want, we will keep finding ourselves in a less than desirable place. If you find yourself in that place already and acknowledge your life situation then the universe will applaud you, and welcome you to meet with a more higher energy osculation. 4D, (Fourth dimension). Fourth dimension is a faster energetic frequency than third. It is an astral dimension, literally meaning that of the stars. The acceleration of those that bring awareness to their thinking and feeling self will be able to kiss separation away, move on and create a new world, a oneness world.

Mayan prophecies are correct in saying that the world will end. You are that world, you hold it within you and because the world is so big it has to force its expansion into further layers outside of yourself. It is the third dimension that is currently coming to its final days.

In moving from third dimension to fourth dimension, remain ordinary throughout the kundalini (your awakening). You don’t need to be understood. You need to be a role model. If people fall pick them up, put it all back together, you can embrace the darkness without the light. You have the power, that capability. If you embrace it long enough you will emerge as light.

Today ask yourself:

What is the lesson here?

How can I be of service?

No spiritual journey is easy, or pretty, and it’s definitely not painted in neon lights like a third dimensional carrousel wheel. It is a journey that is a thousand steps long, and a breath too short. It is sustained by the silence of the soul, and ones search. You will feel alone, you most properly will feel worse for a while, and you will discover that not many people will understand you. You will lye on the floor a million times over, cry in hiding, and want answers now. But this, like everything, is not forever. Neither are they real. In these spaces that one finds themselves, the best agenda is presence and forgiveness. In that order. Go back to the past and think about the things, people, parents, lovers and wonders, what was real? Why did certain things happen to you? How does this shape who you are today?

Heaven knows best, and all the same, so do you. It knows that maybe where you are is where you wanted to be. However you might now be figuring out where you thought you wanted to be is not anywhere near where you should be. The effect that our life has on those around us is silently earthshaking.

In moving from third dimension to fourth you might begin by asking yourself such questions as:

Have you done the right thing with your life?

How do you correct this if you haven’t?

If you find yourself completely hitting ground zero at times. Then instead of running, embrace it and go to the very bottom that you can possibly go. Be constructive. Stay there for a while; just long enough to see why the road took you there, the choices you made, and the rest just remember and neutralize it. Here wisdom can be found. Forgiveness will open the door for change to take place.

What constitutes forgiveness? Love. And why is love imperative in the role of the fourth dimension? Love is vital; it doesn’t require judgment, logic or even intuition. It requires a high level of presence. When you give yourself over to the present moment you will feel that love is the only sustaining emotion.

Love, even if it doesn’t feel right, love even if there is no furious passion, love even if you only have a sense of contentment. The greatest gift to another is non-judgmental love. Just for today, practice sending love to all those with whom you come in contact with.

You don’t have to know everything, or how anything is going to turn out. All of the theories that you have learnt, all of the people that you have met and all the lovers that crossed your path hold no meaning. You don’t need to think about that now; you don’t need to blindfold yourself from it either. If you remain in the world of the past, or future you will blind yourself from this moment. This moment is all that is ever really real. And it is in this moment that you can be walking, running and looking at the beauty that surrounds you and the further beauty that awaits you, when you finally cross that vast energy exchange from third dimension to fourth dimension.

You are a faithful, forgiving, healed soul surrounded by a physical third dimensional layer at this time.

There is no purpose in waiting for the lights to guide you home.

The lights will never turn on; there is no sign, no possibly of a savior, or big bang to bring it forth.

Truth found in stillness will be your guiding light, taking you to a higher sphere within your soul.

You have the power to change your destiny.

You have the possibility so long as you don’t allow the past to play a probability.

Miracles are your birthright.

Book Review: Spirit Junkie, Author Gabrielle Berstein.

I was not familiar with her work however I heard that this book was based on the book “A Course in Miracles”.I am always interested in new information about consciousness so I purchased the book based on the fact that I might learn something new.

It is a fairly light-hearted book, with quotes and stories about Gabrielle’s life and her achievements throughout her journey. If you are not familiar to “A Course in Miracles” or if you are a reader that is new to the non-fiction scene I would highly recommend this book as it is such an easy to read book.

For me I felt it fell a bit short of substance, but this is because I have read ” A Course in Miracles” and I am widely read in the non-fiction scene.

This book is absolutely a book for gen- y, as the style and language makes this obvious. However the adoring and funky style that Gabrielle wrote in will no doubt help those that don’t want to read the hefty book A Course in Miracles , but those that want to learn a little about it.

If you want a “quick pick me up” book, then I would highly recommend this book however if you are well read and want something with substance save your money.

By Sarah Liddle

Our pain continues to unfold.
On the commencement of a new day

Life remains the same, the pain resides, and the emotions still twirl.

And where are we?
We are here, but we are not.

With just a hop, skip and floss we are reminiscing on the old days, old ways, old faces and old habits of the yesterdays. We are living vicariously through the past in this present moment, in each present moment.

It all began with a repeated thought…

And attached with that thought, a deep emotion.
With a highly charged energy flow to a thought, we turn something intangible into something very tangible.
The price of a thought is high, but do you know exactly just how high? It is our thoughts that create our identity and shape the direction of our lives. Emotionally we could have lost something, someone, been hurt somehow by someone or held onto something, which has deep emotion and connection to the past for us.
With a deep-rooted connection to thoughts that whirl with past experiences we prevent new worlds from opening up within us, thus preventing a new world outside ourselves.

With our emotions and thoughts in the past, the present is blurred by our past perceptions of items, which has nothing to do with the reality of today.

On our planet, we are highly unconscious, not because we are just unconscious. We aren’t born unconscious. We were born, aware, playful, inquisitive and active. What positive change will happen for us if we continue to hold onto our past experiences, people and places? Without letting go we lose our mind, and lose our ability to be conscious, to live, really live.

Everything starts with a thought, just as unconsciousness started with a thought. We can create a new thought to start again, start afresh, in this moment we can turn faded memories into eternal love.
All the pain, heaviness and worry that you have, will all end with the start of your intense presence to the current life situation you have.

Lets start by affirming a new future for ourselves, make a daily practice to say and feel the words by Eckhart Tolle.

“The past has no power over the present moment.”

When you realize this, and emotionally understand it the orchestration of life will allow specific events that needed to come to you, but couldn’t because of your blockages to arrive at your doorstep.
Your energy will accelerate, moving you from third dimension to fourth. You will have complete control of the direction of your life and the events that you attract to yourself.

Everything in the past was meant for you, accepting this and now moving forward you can create meaning to the person you are now, the person behind you and the person you will be.
Become fascinated by how every single thing is here for you, perfectly in place for you. There are no exceptions to this.

Everyone that has crossed your path, every place, every item, the colour of the day, the smell, the feelings you had, all have high importance for the enhancement and total fulfillment of your life. In knowing this, you realize everything is here working with you. Not against you.

When we move away from past thoughts, and become present we can see that everything is designed for our higher self and purpose. With this seeing, brings the awareness that everything is then an opportunity for us. For us to act upon, achieve, create, and design our life the way that we desire, to design it with integrity.

If we feel stuck, incomplete or out of tune with the world, with the opportunities that are being presented then we must go within – for however long we need to. As we do, we may find that we are not in tune with ourselves or our soul.
You are a part of this universe, without you there would be nothing. You are the grand design we call life. You only receive one shot at being who you are today, by being who you are at this time on earth, one shot.
Act upon your life with integrity, live in this moment and know that everything is working in syc for you.
The minute you know and believe this with unwavering passion is the day that you will accelerate past victimhood, past pain, past the physical realm to find a silent space of peace and love within yourself.

In this space you will find that cause and effect are one. If you are to move ahead in your life, you are to move ahead in yourself. With this conscious recognition, you know what to do, you know what stands out and needs to be done in your life.

You know the way forward from here; simply move in that direction consciously with Integrity.

Where are we this moment?
We are present.

ICF Core Competencies

The following eleven core coaching competencies were developed to support greater understanding about the skills and approaches used within today’s coaching profession as defined by the ICF. They will also support you in calibrating the level of alignment between the coach-specific training expected and the training you have experienced.
Finally, these competencies were used as the foundation for the ICF Credentialing process examination. The core competencies are grouped into four clusters according to those that fit together logically based on common ways of looking at the competencies in each group. The groupings and individual competencies are not weighted – they do not represent any kind of priority in that they are all core or critical for any competent coach to demonstrate.

A. SETTING THE FOUNDATION
1. MEETING ETHICAL GUIDELINES AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
2. ESTABLISHING THE COACHING AGREEMENT
B. CO-CREATING THE RELATIONSHIP
3. ESTABLISHING TRUST AND INTIMACY WITH THE CLIENT
4. COACHING PRESENCE
C. COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY
5. ACTIVE LISTENING
6. POWERFUL QUESTIONING
7. DIRECT COMMUNICATION
D. FACILITATING LEARNING AND RESULTS
8. CREATING AWARENESS
9. DESIGNING ACTIONS
10. PLANNING AND GOAL SETTING
11. MANAGING PROGRESS AND ACCOUNTABILITY

A. SETTING THE FOUNDATION
1. Meeting Ethical Guidelines and Professional Standards – Understanding of coaching ethics and standards and ability to apply them appropriately in all coaching situations.
Understands and exhibits in own behaviors the ICF Standards of Conduct (see list, Part III of ICF Code of Ethics),
Understands and follows all ICF Ethical Guidelines (see list),
Clearly communicates the distinctions between coaching, consulting, psychotherapy and other support professions,
Refers client to another support professional as needed, knowing when this is needed and the available resources.
